Spent Easter at a Japanese-style hotel with an onsen and it was amazing. The hotel had plenty of options for entertainment with karaoke, ping pong, and an arcade. The buffet had a good selection for dinner and breakfast, with something for everyone. What we loved most were the private onsen, which was incredibly relaxing, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
While the hotel was reasonably priced, we found that the facilities were a bit dated and could use some updating. Additionally, the location was quite secluded and up a steep mountain road which made it difficult to go out in the evenings. a pleasant stay with some minor drawbacks, but the private onsen and friendly staff more than made up for it.

Located up in the mountains, this hotel provides a peaceful and quiet escape. The outdoor onsen with stunning nature views is a must try. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. The buffet meals were simple but catered to all types of eaters. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Getting to the hotel involves driving up steep mountain roads, so it may not be the best option for those without a car or who get motion sickness. Although advertised, the indoor pool was not usable during my stay.
